Paul LaPointe, II, PT, DPT

Paul LaPointe II, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist at Tidewater Orthopaedics who enjoys serving the Hampton Roads community he proudly calls home. A Yorktown native, Paul graduated from Hampton Roads Academy before earning his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Christopher Newport University. He went on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Southern Baptist University.

Paul is passionate about helping patients restore movement and function, particularly following injury or surgery. He focuses on making movement more accessible and empowering patients through individualized care, education, and evidence‑based rehabilitation strategies. His goal is to help patients return to the activities they enjoy with confidence and improved mobility.

Outside the clinic, Paul enjoys golfing, reading, and exploring as many locally owned restaurants in the Hampton Roads area as possible.
