Rachel Markowski

Rachel Markowski, PT, DPT, has been a physical therapist at Tidewater Orthopaedics since 2018. She brings extensive experience in outpatient orthopaedic physical therapy and is dedicated to helping patients restore strength, mobility, and confidence through individualized care.

Originally from Rochester, New York, Rachel was raised in Bergen County, New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Connecticut in 2005 and went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Long Island University in 2008.

Rachel has a special interest in treating sports‑related injuries, particularly conditions affecting the knee and shoulder. She values evidence‑based practice and collaborates closely with patients to develop rehabilitation plans that support both recovery and long‑term injury prevention.
