Job description

**30-35 hours weekly**

Assist the executive leadership team by performing a variety of financial and clerical support tasks. Ensures financial transactions on behalf of the organization are accurate, timely, and reflect organized accounting processes. Supports the coordination of legal requests and credentialing for medical staff and allied health professionals. Provides administrative assistant support to the executive leadership team. Maintains confidentiality at various levels, including regarding corporate accounts and other tasks as assigned.

Accounts Payable 85%

  • Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
  • Responsible for completing all entries into the company's accounting system
  • Correctly allocates expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice
  • Timely processes all vendor payments by scheduling and preparing checks and resolving any payment discrepancies and documentation
  • Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos
  • Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
  • Maintains timely and accurate accounting system entries by monitoring, reviewing and entering all financial transactions daily
  • outine collaboration with the organization’s executive team for expense and cash flow planning
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Credentialing 5%

  • Monitors and ensures all medical staff members and allied health professionals maintain credentials and license to work in their respective specialty
  • Completes appropriate applications for renewal of license, certification and maintenance, facility, and payer credentialing
  • Maintains all license records in accordance with regulatory and accrediting institutions
  • Facilitates new hire credentialing to ensure a timely onboarding of new medical staff members and allied health professionals
  • Communicates independently with third-party credentialing contact

Legal Coordinator 5%

  • Coordinates legal requests and processes the required documents related to medical records and physician reviews
  • Maintains files related to legal procedures in a manner that protects the information

Administrative Assistant Support 5%

  • Assist the executive leadership team in special projects and various clerical administrative tasks
  • Schedules business meetings, coordinates with external and internal contacts
  • Orders all non-clinical supplies for the organization
  • Limited practice errands (bank, post office, office max, etc)
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Experience Requirements

  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Organized and able to manage time effectively
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and fellow co-workers
  • Excellent Microsoft Office and overall computer skills
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize assignments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education Requirement

  • High School Diploma
  • QuickBooks experience preferred
