Dr. Scott Glassburn attended Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Joining TOA in 2023, he comes with over 35 years of experience and has a well-rounded background in private practice and hospital-based clinics.
Dr. Glassburn graduated from the University of Maryland in 1984 and the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in 1989. Following his residency at the Washington Hospital Center in DC, Dr. Glassburn and his wife (also a podiatrist) entered private practice in Charleston WV. He was President of the State Society in WV and served as a consultant for the State Board of Medicine. In 2003 he accepted a position as Director of the Podiatric Surgery Residency program at the VAMC in Huntington, WV. He was an adjunct professor at WVU and Marshall Medical Schools. In 2010, Dr. Glassburn transferred to the VAMC in Hampton.
Dr. Glassburn enjoys water activities, boating and fishing with his son. His secret passion is traditional archery and he's built many serviceable long and recurve bows and thousands of cedar shaft arrows.
